Azita Ghanizada

Azita is a native of Kabul, Afghanistan. She is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. The family she was born into fled Afghanistan and sought refuge in the US. Her birthplace was there. Her parents raised her sisters who resided living in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on the television scene through a handful of National Commercials. For the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada portrayed the main character of Chiara an appearance for which she was awarded the film festival's best actress nomination. She has appeared in television shows such as How I Met Your Mother, Entourage Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych as well as Castle. Recent roles include an appearance as a character in Blood Shot, (2009) which is based on the science-fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was first noticed in 2008 when she joined the cast for The General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift featured Ghanizada play the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra, a doctor who specializes in holistic medicine. Ghanizada played Kelly as an actress on Prada Sales Girl on HBO Entourage from 2009.
